Robert Kilmer       1939 – 2023 Robert Kilmer was born October 3, 1939, in Tucson, Arizona, to his parents, mother Roberta Daniels Kilmer and father Christopher Kilmer.  His native instinct and his talent led him to a life in literature and writing that extended family tradition.  His grandfather, Joyce Kilmer, after refusing an officer’s commission, was killed in heroic action in World War 1.  Before his death, Joyce was a loved and admired poet.  His most famous poem was “Trees.” The family moved from Tucson to Oxford, North Carolina, then to Greenwich Village, and finally to Stillwater, New Jersey, where they

Catheryn Jean Obar Bittle passed away peacefully at home on July 4, 2023.  She was born July 25, 1974, to Thomas and Beryl Obar.  Cathy was predeceased by her father, Thomas, and her mother, Beryl.  She is survived by her sister, Lori Shepherd (Rick); her aunt JoAnn Halo; dear friend Anne Carroll; and her beloved cat, Gracie.   Cathy graduated from Seton High School in Manassas, VA and worked at several jobs before health issues made working too difficult.  Despite her challenges, Cathy touched many lives with her kindness, caring and wonderful sense of humor.  Her unexpected death has left
