Born in Camden, New Jersey, on August 26, 1940, John grew up in Westville, NJ, where he developed a lifelong passion for the outdoors, especially hunting. Shirley Joyce Cook, 85, of Manassas, VA.   Shirley Cook passed away peacefully on October 27,2024 surrounded by her family. Shirley was born on August 15, 1939, in Hammond, Indiana to Vernon and Hazel Willis and was the much-loved wife to William John Cook III for 67 years. Shirley met William at Calumet HS where she was a class officer for the Class of 1957. She played clarinet in the school orchestra and soloed for Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue for a school performance. Dalton  Leroy  Blevins  (Dal) Dalton Leroy Blevins (Dal), devoted father, grandfather, and friend, was born on May 28, 1941, in Washington, D.C., to Worth and Kathleen Blevins. He was predeceased by his brother, Ray Thomas, in 1964. Raised in Loudoun County, Virginia, Dal graduated from Loudoun County High School in 1960. Dal married Marie Peyton shortly after high school, and together they built a life full of love, raising their daughter, Brenda Marie. On Monday, August 26th, 2024, Thomas Lee Scrogham, Sr. (Tom), 75, of Manassas Park, Va. passed from this life after a 6-year battle with esophageal cancer. Tom was a fighter and remained strong to the end, along with his Cancer Team at Schar Cancer Institute, who fought hard along with him. He was a Vietnam Veteran and received a Purple Heart.
