Roy Alan Weatherholtz

Roy Alan Weatherholtz, age 78, passed away on July 21, 2022, in Marion, North Carolina.

He was born on January 4, 1944, in Fairfax, Virginia to the late Ralph Weatherholtz and Theresa Hummer.

Roy worked as a fence builder and a carpenter for most of his life.  He had a love for turquoise jewelry.  He also enjoyed binge-watching old Western movies while working on his Search Word Puzzle books.

He was predeceased by two children: Roy Alan Weatherholtz, Jr. and Regina Radford.

Survivors include his daughter, Sheila Weatherholtz; sons: Richard Weatherholtz and wife, Melissa, and Tommy Weatherholtz.  Roy had nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Roy was a part of a big family.  He was one of 12 siblings with numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Olde Towne Funeral Home, 9320 West Street, Manassas, VA at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ray Windsor officiating. Interment is private.

Always willing to lend a helping hand. I am happy all my sisters & I had you as a friend since grade school in Herndon. Go Rest High on that Mountain, Roy. God Be With You My Friend.
