Lucio Amando Sosa Dominguez, age 52 passed away on November 26, 2022, at UVA Prince William Medical Center, Manassas, VA.
He was born on February 7, 1970, in Mexico to Luis Sosa Balbuena and Carmen Dominguez Gomez.
My father was a responsible strong working man who taught his sons, daughters, and wife to learn from him through his mistakes, and all the greatness. He taught his children to never give up on anything in life and to stay educated in any way. That there’s always a solution to any situation. He would go out of his way to always help anyone, and he always stood by his family’s side; Mr. Sosa would always be thankful for what he had. He made sure when someone was upset to make them smile because life is a joy. His number one goal was to always remind his children and wife to never allow someone to bring you down because as human beings we are in control of what happens in life. There were times when he would randomly take photos of his wife cooking or his daughters laughing, and sons playing video games to hold the lovely memories of his family he loved so much. Lucio Sosa Amando sacrificed his life to give the family that raised him a better life because he always wanted the best for them. One thing he made sure of was to leave his family he had created prepared for their future.
Survivors include his parents: Luis and Carmen; wife: Socorro Lopez; three sons: Luis Sosa Lopez (Elizabeth), Victor Sosa Lopez (Giselle) and Oscar Sosa Lopez; two daughters: Carmen Sosa Lopez and Kimberlyn Sosa Lopez; six brothers: Leo-polo Sosa, Lupe Sosa, Hector Sosa, Santiago Sosa, Jose Luis Sosa and Francisco Sosa; three sisters: Cruz Sosa, Patricia Sosa and Rosalia Sosa, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and fur baby Sofia Soa Lopez.
