Daryl’s smile and laughter, his fire for life and his loving spirit will be missed in love forever. His parting was proceeded by his parents, John R Davison and Edith Davison and his brother J.R Davison and his sister Linda Davison. Thank you crazy Dave for all the memories. Great friend, teammate and person. You will be missed
Sorry to hear. I will have to call Tommy Lee and let him know why you were driving 100mph thru a dui task force in Atlanta. Glad we got you out.
Hey Mike!
What’s happening?
Sky’s the limit!
What I heard answering Daryl Davison’s phone call. Always upbeat & positive. He supported my racing because he supports everybody’s racing. I called him Crazy because everyone else did. A very fun colorful person you will not soon forget. He earned his reputation in fine style. I know a lot of the stories collected across the decades. So entertaining! He knows a lot of people. I didn’t realize how much music & instruments meant to him until later in life. He was commuting to care for his Mother then. He called his Virginia Beach home the Museum. I took pictures last time I was there watching Indy 500. It was fantastic. All memories now.
Crazy Dave put the time & miles to cover great distances. He would tell you where to be to support his Team, or he would show up, sometimes unannounced to support your Team. Always knowledgeable and helpful. He could give the best racing team tours. He was helpful to anyone. He truly reached the pinnacle working for top teams like Larry McBride’s top fuel records setting motorcycle, Larry’s the fastest man alive. Also 1st in the fives, one world record set after another. Risi Competizione, the factory backed Ferrari Team out of Houston Texas is another iconic team he was so proud to have worked for. I’ve never seen such organization the way Team Risi shows up and dominates. I loved those guys. Truly an inspiration. Thank you so much for including your friends in your adventures Daryl Davison. Your obituary is written very well my friend.

You old hair lip, I remember the day I saw you at work when I was a kid selling motorcycle parts. Full of life, jokes, smiles and opinions. It was so cool for me to hang with you and Mike and go on those double secret road trips. We broke a lot of laws and had a lot of fun that I will never forget and truly miss. You were there for my first win in the rain and got your car that lovely Nissan z muddy just to see me. I’ll never forget that. You and Mike and Don from work were father figures for me, good or bad I learned from all of you. I had my first beer ever with you guys on a run down that road. I would not be who I am today without you. I loved spending time with you when I was at Risi you reminded me of who I was and should be. Sky’s the limit not anymore! We will ride again and I don’t think I’ll be able to pass you anymore. Tell Mike to get his shit ready.
I LOVE YOU DAVE
